There is no doubt that body language speaks volumes. Body language is a crucial part of bboecoming a successful person. Most experts agree body language is more important than the things you actually say.
So why is body language so important? From the outset, it might seem that it does not really matter that much. But of course, it is a crucial part of getting what you want.
The reason for this is that the world works as an exchange of energy between people. People who have a good rapport with other people around them are more likely to have a good body language.
Someone who has worked hard and done a good job is more likely to receive a lot of praise and therefore feel good. Due to their positive environment, they are going to now have a body language that evokes confidence.
Someone who has text book bad body language: slouched over, leaning on there arm etc. can easily be told to stand up, sit up straight, but this is only going to temporarily pick them up before they quickly return to their former position.
The truth is that body language represents a person’s physiological well being. Even someone who has bad body language but is in a good state of mind will still be emitting positive energy which will negate the bad posture they have at that time.
So what is the key to good body language? Well it is not just following some rule book that tells you to sit up, stand up straight- it goes much deeper than that. Indeed, great body language is about improving the quality of your life. After that you will basically be able to get away with anything because you have a positive rapport.
That said, there is still a rule book when it comes to body language. At certain times people should position their body in a certain position. No one can doubt that this is the truth.
For example, would you visit your new partner’s parents for the first time with your arms folded and staring up at the sky? Probably not. This is just basic courtesy. But beyond that it is more about the relationship that you have with other people.
In any given moment and in any social environment there are going to be certain dynamics at play. Whether it be at home or in the office at work. The rapport and relations you have with others will ultimately dictate your body language.
It is no surprise that successful people always look fantastic but they may have not always looked that way. The truth is that these people have worked their guts of to gain that position. The platform that they enjoy was given to them one person at a person. Only of being conscious of other people are they able to put themselves in a great position.
In this climb for the top this person will have had to learn all the social graces required to get there. This of course includes body language which is the most important communication tool.
People can learn the basics of body language through receiving an education. But beyond that it is going to come down to hard work and commitment. Really wanting to be successful.
Without a doubt a lot of it is going to come down to that person’s disposition. That cannot be denied. But there is a hell of a lot of leg work that someone can put in to improve their situation.
